2004 Ford Focus 2.0 ZTEC Engine Alternator replacement.

What fun it is to replace the alternator. First the easy part  disconnect the battery negative cable remove the coolant reservoir and then the power steering fluid reservoir. The next thing is to disconnect the fuel line in order to remove the engine eye bracket, then disconnect the alternator wiring harness plugs. The alternator drive belt has to be removed and the two long bolts have to be removed, note the intake manifold is very close to the top of the alternator. The bottom part of the alternator has to be pushed up and out then slide the alternator out. The next thing is to remove the passenger side motor mount and move the engine forward in order to get the alternator out and install the alternator. This job took me about two hours to complete.
